Tivat is a chamber town located in the Boka Kotorska Bay of the Adriatic Sea. Located on the Vrmac peninsula, it is the smallest administrative center of Montenegro, covering an area of only 46 km2. According to the latest census, just over 10,000 people live in Tivat.
The temperate Mediterranean climate, the abundance of sunny days in the year, the mountains that protect the area from the winds, make Tivat a desired vacation spot. The beach season opens in June and ends at the end of September. The warmest temperature values of both air and water are in July and August.
